The forms in Service Management comply with Distribution SX.e design standards. Some of the functionality that is available in Service Management, such as drag-and-drop, is not available in Distribution SX.e. Additionally, fields that do not pertain to the integration between Distribution SX.e and Service Management were removed.

Online documentation for the forms is maintained in the Service Management documentation library. When you are working in Distribution SX.e, use the Smart Help context widget to access help content for the forms. Click a link in the Smart Help to open the Service Management documentation library in another tab.

Note: If you access another function and then return to an open Service Management form, the content from the other function is retained in the Smart Help. You must perform an action on the Service Management form to refresh the Smart Help.

Form availability is enabled by the Service Management application URL in SA Administrator Options-Integrations-Service Management. Operator access to the Service Management module, module categories, and the individual forms is granted in SA Operator Setup, but standard functional security does not apply. Operators have full access to the forms when the security level is 2-5.

The Distribution SX.e version of the Service Management forms are also available in Service Management. The name of Distribution SX.e versions of the form are annotated with an .sxe suffix, for example, Contracts.sxe.

The default user interface style that is used for Distribution SX.e is applied to the Service Management forms and modals that are available Distribution SX.e. In Distribution SX.e, the default style is called the 'New' style. If you change the user interface style in Distribution SX.e, the Service Management forms are not affected.
