WL Receiving Exception/RT Close Report overview

Use this report to create RCV transactions in WL Transaction Inquiry when you are using line item receiving.
Receiving purchase orders by entering the line item and quantity received allows you to receive against multiple purchase orders in a single shipment. For example, you receive a large shipment from your vendor. In this shipment are five products that were requested on three different purchase orders. When you begin the receiving process, you can see there is more than one active receipt transaction (RT) in the system. You can open RT lines that contain the item being received and process the receipt information.
After you unload the truck, you can run the WL Receiving Exception/RT Close Report to review receipts. Then, automatically close all the purchase orders represented by the items on the truck. The WL Entry Batch Receiving Report picks up the RCV transactions and updates system inventory balances and purchase order files.
