TWL Outbound - Order Drop Manager overview

TWL > Outbound > Order Management > Order Drop Manager

Function acronym: TWLOM

Use the TWL Order Drop Manager to organize orders and drop them to the warehouse floor in TWL.

In TWL Order Drop Manager, you can use the Search panel or Advanced Search to find and display orders in the grid.

In the Search panel, use the View field to filter your results by selecting from these options:

  • UnDropped

This option displays open and unassigned orders.

  • Dropped and Open

This option displays open and assigned orders.

  • Dropped

This option displays any assigned orders.

  • All

This option displays all orders in any stage.

When you select one or more orders in the grid, you can use the buttons in the grid toolbar to Drop, Zero Ship, UnDrop, Update, view Comments, and Export to Excel. The buttons are available based on the status of the orders. For example, if unassigned orders are selected and ready to be dropped, the Drop and Zero Ship buttons are available, and the UnDrop button is not. The UnDrop button is available for open and assigned orders.

To further filter results, use the Wave field or the Include On Hold option. The 500 line item record limit allows the page to run a search query smoothly.

To view the details of an order, drill down on an order in the grid.

Alternate Ship Via

To validate and display the alternate ship via in TWL, ensure this setup:

  • Enable Alternate Ship Via option in the SA Administrator Options-Documents-Sales Orders-Entry Settings screen.
  • Enable Alternate Ship Via option in the Product Warehouse Description Setup-Other screen.
  • Set up alternate ship via as a carrier in the TWL Outbound-Shipping-Carrier Master screen. The TWL carrier records must be identical to the values specified in SA Table Code Value Setup-Ship Via.

You can update the Carrier field only when one row is selected in the grid.
