Function acronym: SMREP

This report is used by Canadian companies to prepare monthly or quarterly tax reports for the appropriate taxing authorities. The report calculates taxes based on tax jurisdictions and rates set up in SA Goods and Services Tax Setup and SA Local Tax Setup.

Use this report to review the totals from the character version SM Setup Extended Product Category by Customer Totals record. The units sold, net sales, discounts, and costs of each product category purchased by a customer are updated to monthly balances in the SM Setup Extended Product Category by Customer Totals record.

Information provided by this report includes the customer number and lookup name, ship-to name, product category name, warehouse, calendar year, and the number of lines year to date. It also includes the date Sales Manager was last updated, by whom, and twelve months of the product category balances.

This report can be lengthy; use ranges to limit the report results. The report format is similar to the SM Extended Warehouse/Category Inquiry.
