SA Company Setup - Required overview

System Administrator > Setup > Company

Use this page to set up and maintain required company information. You cannot set up any other company-related information until the fields on this view are complete.

You must set up the company records before any other setups are started. Operators cannot access additional system modules until a company record is set up.

The company number is used extensively throughout the system. It is combined as a key with all setups, transaction entries, and reports. The only fields that cannot be specified during the initial setup are the General Ledger suspense debit and credit account codes. Specify this information after the General Ledger chart of accounts is complete. Because of the affect the company record has throughout the system, we recommend that access to SA Company Setup be restricted to a system administrator.
