SA Printer Queue Setup overview
Function acronym: SAPQ
Use this function to create and maintain print queues when you use Report Manager as your reporting service. You can also use this function to temporarily inactivate a print queue.
When you create a new print queue, follow the naming conventions that are established for your company. Specify a clear description of the queue that includes the purpose or contents of the queue. Descriptions are especially important if you use a numbering system for your queue names.
You can select two options for each queue. If you select the Demand Job Only option, the queue can only run demand jobs. If you select the Active to activate the print queue. When a queue is active, the queue is controlled by its scheduled stop time that is set up in RS Queue Setup. You can clear the Active option to inactivate a queue and prevent its jobs from running. When a queue is inactive, it is on hold and is not rescheduled until its status is changed to active.
