SA Connection Inquiry overview

System Administrator > Inquiry > Connection

Function acronym: SAIC

Use this page to view database connections. The information is derived from the Progress Connect file. You can also use this page to clear user sessions.

In the Database Connection Summary section, you can view these database connection values:

  • Number of user sessions that are connected to the web-based version (WebUI) of Distribution SX.e
  • Number of user sessions that are connected to Total Warehouse Logistics (TWL)
  • Report Managers and Pollers, which refers to the Shipping Interface
  • Other connections, such editors
  • The total number of database connections

You can view individual connections in the grid. If WebUI supports multi-tenant and multi-company login, only the connections that are specific to the tenant and company at log in are displayed. Select All in the Type field to view connections with a zero company number.

When you clear user sessions, a disc[cono]saic.li log file is created. The cono in the file name is the company the operator performing the disconnect is signed into. This file is output to the SA Company Setup print directory for the company identified in the file name. These logs are removed after seven days by the RDClean functionality.

Caution:
Do not attempt to stop Report Scheduler activity by clearing a database connection for a 0000rptr process. Not all 0000rptr processes are reports that are running or Report Scheduler activity. Terminating the wrong 0000rptr process could negatively affect your database or system.

Contact Infor Support to clear Report Scheduler activity that you are unable to clear through this function.
