SA Administrator Inactive Customer Removal Report overview
Function acronym: SAAIC
Use this report to remove customer records that are inactive due to lack of use or because a new set of data is available for the new year. Run this report at least once a year.
This report removes all inactive history records that are associated with the inactive customer records. If any of the history records are still active, or the customer class is zero, processing stops and the customer record is not deleted. Processing then continues with the next inactive customer record if a range of customers was specified. The class can be updated manually in Customer Setup or automatically by the SM Administrator Customer Ranking Report.
These records, and their associated notes and comments, are removed for the customers that qualify within the report parameters:
- Customer Setup
- Customer Transaction Entry
- Customer Lock Box Setup
- Customer Ship To Setup
- Customer Payment History Setup
- SA Exemption Setup
- PD Pricing Setup-Customer
- SM Setup Customer Totals, graphical only
- SM Setup Extended Product Category, graphical only
- SM Setup Extended Warehouse/Product Totals, graphical only
- SM Setup Extended Hazardous, graphical only
A summary page prints at the end of the report with the totals for these categories:
- Total number of inactive customers
- Total number of active customers
- Total number of class 13 customers that were inactivated
- Total number of non-class 13 customers that were inactivated
- Total number of class 13 customers that were not inactivated
- Total number of non-class 13 customers that were not inactivated
- Total number of inactive customers that were deleted

Run the SM Administrator Customer Ranking Report before you remove inactive customer records.
