SA Administrator Authorization Security Setup overview

System Administrator > Administration > Authorization Security

Function acronym: SAA-AUTHSECURITY

Use this function to authorize an operator to perform a task. You can also authorize an operator to grant or deny authorization to another operator who does not have the authority to perform the task.

Note:  Only the system administrator should have access to this function.

All authorization points are displayed. Select an authorization point and then click Point Security (If Blank Operator) to perform these tasks:

  • View the operators with specific authority for an authorization point
  • View the user profile of operators with specific authority for an authorization point
  • Set the authorization security for several operators for one authorization point

Operator records must first be established in SA Operator Setup before levels of authorization can be assigned in this function.
