Sales Order Entry - Taxes & Totals - Addons overview
Use this page to specify additional charges, such as freight and handling, that are added to an order. Addons can default from the customer or shipto records, or customer service representatives can use this page to manually specify charges during order entry.
You can create a new addon, or use the expanding rows in the Addons grid to edit existing addons. You can select a different Description or modify the Amount or Type. Rows 1 and 2 are reserved for Freight In and Freight Out.
The addon percentages are calculated from the line item totals.
On this page you can perform these actions:
- Maintain addon charges
- Delete addon charges
- Review external shipping override option
- Record the sale of gift cards
Use the Addons view to record the sale of a gift card. Gift cards that are set up in SA Order Entry Addon Setup are selected in the Description field.
If you create, edit, or delete addons, always click in the Sales Order Entry - Taxes & Totals page toolbar to update the pertinent fields.
