Use this page to add stand-alone comments lines or subtotal lines to the order. You can create internal or external comments.
External comments are included on all external sales order documents, such as acknowledgements, bills of lading, pick tickets, and invoices. When you add an external comment to a sales order header or line item, an internal External Comments flag is set. If you have any of the sales order documents set up as Print Format 4 forms in SA Administrator Options-Documents-Sales Orders-Printing with an Output Type of IDM Output Management or IDM Output Management and Third Party, the external comments are included on the form.
