Sales Order Entry - Advanced Line Entry - Comments overview
Use this page to add a printed or internal comment to the line item. The date, time, and user that added a comment is recorded and displayed on the page.
Printed line comments are included on external documents, such as invoices, order acknowledgments, packing lists, and delivery documents based on your selection for these fields:
- Print On Invoice
- Print On Acknowledgement
- Print On TWL Packing Slip
- Print On Delivery
Internal comments are displayed on entry and inquiry functions. Both internal and external comments, when provided, are automatically included on pick tickets.
The line item comments that are included in the SalesOrder/SalesOrderLine/Note field on inbound Process SalesOrder BODs are created as printed comments. Printed comments from an inbound BOD are included on these documents that are associated with the sales order:
- Pick tickets
- Invoices
- Sourcing documents: Purchase orders and warehouse transfers
