Sales Order Entry - Collect Payment - OE Gift Cards overview
The OE Gift Cards window is displayed automatically at the conclusion of a Counter Sale order that contains fully tendered gift cards, or when a Stock Order is accessed from the Sales Order Entry-Maintain window.
To activate a gift card, select it in the grid and click . The CenPOS Gift Activate window is displayed where you can specify the gift card number and name.
If you enter a gift card addon on a Counter Sale (CS) order with other line items, you must tender the entire amount of the order in full before you can activate the gift card. You are warned if a gift card is not activated before closing the order. This ensures the customer does not leave with a card that is not activated.
Note: Gift card addons cannot be maintained or deleted from a sales order after the gift
card is activated.
