Product Replenishment Setup overview

Product > Setup > Replenishment

Function acronym: ICSR

Use this function to set parameters to use the automated replenishment options.

These replenishment methodologies are optional. If selected, they affect these factors:

  • Order control calculations in Product Administration Month End Processing
  • Ranking options in Product Administration Inventory Classification and Rank
  • Safety and lead time requirements in Purchase Receipt of Inventory Entry
  • Long-term surplus calculation in Product Availability Inquiry, Purchase Demand Center Entry, and Transfer Demand Center Entry

Conduct a search to locate an existing record to maintain, or click New to create a new one.

You can specify options for four levels: company, warehouse, vendor, and product line. During processing, this hierarchy is used to apply the settings:

  1. Product line
  2. Vendor
  3. Warehouse
  4. Company

Each product line record must be associated with a warehouse. Some settings also exist at the product level in Product Warehouse Product Setup. Those settings are checked first.

At a minimum, set up the company record.
