Product Extended Product Info Exception Setup overview

Using Tiers and Preferences allows customer service representatives to offer your customers products with comparable product attributes, such as quality, availability, location, or price.

Some customers do not want to order a comparable product for specific product SKUs. You can create an exception for that customer and that product. Then, comparable products do not display as part of Tiers and Preferences during sales order entry. To create exceptions:

• Add these product SKUs to the exception list by selecting Product > Setup > Extended Product Info Exception. Click New. Specify the Customer or ShipTo number and the product SKU. Click Save.
• If that customer changes their mind later, you can remove the product SKU from the exception list. Select it from the grid and click Delete.
