Product Serial Number Report overview
Function acronym: ICROS
Use this report to print information about each serial-controlled product in each warehouse.
This information from Product Extended Serial Number Setup is included for each serial on the report:
- Stage
- How and when it was received
- How and when it was sold
- Cost
- Price
Serial history records that are created in Kit Production are included on this report. This information is displayed in the Type column, based on the activity performed on the serial record:
- Work order
- Built
- Disassembled
The expiration date from Product Extended Serial Number Setup is also included in the report. The expiration date is updated when the product is invoiced.
Warranty products
The warranty is determined by the length of warranty and warranty period that is specified on the Product Setup record. The length of warranty is represented by days, months, and years and works in combination with the warranty period. The warranty period is the actual period of time the warranty is valid, such two days, two months, or two years. The warranty expiration date is specified in Product Extended Serial Number Setup.
To include an expired or non-expired products on the report, these conditions must be met on the Product Extended Serial Number Setup record:
- The stage must be sold.
- The invoice date cannot be blank.
- The expiration date cannot be blank.
