Product Entry Count Quantity Recalculation Report overview

Product > Entry > ICE Reports > ICEPQ

Function acronym: ICEPQ

Use this report to recalculate the expected quantities without resetting or reprinting the sheets or tickets.

Before you perform a large count, such as an annual physical inventory, you might want to print count sheets or tickets several days in advance. This gives everyone time to check locations and tag products before they perform the count. Business continues as usual, orders are posted and filled, inventory is received, and so on during the time period between when the count sheets were processed and when you perform the actual count.

By the time you are ready to count, the stored quantities are no longer correct.

Storeroom

The report is run in report mode only for Storeroom warehouses, as the InventoryCount BOD that was generated by the Product Entry Storeroom Count Report cannot be updated once it is sent to the Storeroom SQL database.

The output includes the number of records where the quantity was changed in either update or non-update mode. If you run the report in non-update mode, the records changed may include quantity, cost, or customer product name. These values will display only when there is a difference. If this report is run from Storeroom, the Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup customer product name is printed on the report, if it exists, below the regular product name.
