IB Customer Price Labels Report overview

Integrated Barcode > Reports > IB Reports > IBRPC

Function acronym: IBRCP

Use this report to print pricing labels for display on shelves.

You can print price labels that are based on a price change date and these groups of products:

  • Stocked products
  • Products with quantities on hand
  • Products with price changes
  • Kits
  • Do not order or order-as-needed products
  • Catalog products

All standard pricing methods, including pricing sheets, are used to obtain the correct prices for the labels. Use of promotional prices is optional, but all other price and rebate types from PD Price Setup for customers and ships that are included in the report are considered. If a product qualifies for more than one price type, the pricing hierarchy is used to determine the correct price.

You can print labels for specific customers or generic customers that represent vertical markets.

You can specify the number of labels to print per product. Labels for warehouse products are printed in order by product. Labels for catalog products are printed by vendor, before warehouse products by vendor and product line, and then in order by product. You can use the report to reprint labels, if required.

Note: When you run the IB Customer Price Label Report, the printer specified in the Printing Information section should be a standard report printer, not the actual label printer. You specify the label printer to be used in the Label Printer field on the report options page.

When you print labels that are based on price changes, the information from the warehouse product record is used to determine if a new label is required. This information about the price label is stored on the General tab of Product Warehouse Product Setup records:

  • Price Label Last Price: Last price that was printed on a label
  • Price Label Unit: Last unit that was printed on a label
  • Price Label Date: Date that the label was printed

To review the prices before you print the labels, run the PD Customer Pricing Report or use Birst to generate a detailed report. The IB Customer Price Label Report is based on the PD Customer Pricing Report, with some changes to the ranges and options.

To obtain the default file label that is provided by Infor, run the SA Default Label Retrieval Report. You can customize the labels to meet legal requirements.

Note: This report honors division security.

In CloudSuite Distribution, you can print labels using Infor Document Management or Enterprise Printing Platform. In on-premises Distribution SX.e, you must use Enterprise Printing Platform.

See the Infor CloudSuite Distribution Configuration Guide or the Infor CloudSuite Distribution Integration Guide for Enterprise Printing Platform.
