GL Balance History Report overview
Function acronym: GLRBH
When each balance report is run, a record containing this information is created: account number, date, time, current balance, subsidiary balance, difference, and cumulative variance.
The GL Balance History Report prints these records to track balancing history:
Vendor Trial Balance Report
Customer Trial Balance Report
CR Trial Balance Report
GL Balance Order Entry Report
GL Balance Purchase Order Report
GL Balance Transfers Report
GL Balance Matching Activity Report
GL Trial Balance Report
Product Trial Balance of Direct Orders Report

The information is printed from GL Account Inquiry. A General Ledger balancing history record is created each time you run one of the listed reports. GL Balance History Report prints the balancing history records that are already created.
GL Balance History Report does not print anything unless the Track Balancing History option in SA Administrator Options-Financials-Period Structure is selected.
