Select this option to allow the Operator to override special handling restrictions during document entry.

Shipment Type

This field optionally identifies which shipment types are allowed for the special handling code. Select one or more options from Air Allowed, Air Only, Air Not Allowed, Ground Allowed, Ground Only, Ground Not Allowed, and Less Than Load (LTL).

When the product shipping restriction validation is applied for a sales order, the special handling shipment types are checked against any Ship Via shipment types. Special handling codes set up here in SA Table Code Value Setup-Special Handling are selected on the Special Handling tab in Product Setup. Shipment types are specified for Ship Via records in SA Table Code Value Setup-Ship Via.
