PI Import Definition Setup - Packages field descriptions

In PI Import Definition Setup, the Packages view is only accessible for a Delimited file type. Use the Packages view to specify the positions of the data corresponding to the fields in the grid. The information is used by the system to create a table of SCC-14 (Shipping Container Code) information. SCC-14 information is used to identify the various packaging configurations for a given product. SCC-14 data is created for the Product UPC Number Setup table.

Lowest Level Unit of Measure

Unit of measure describing the units within the sub pack.

Next Lower SCC-14

The SCC-14 of the next lower level sub pack within this container.

Number of Sub Packs

Number of next lower level packs in this container.

Pack Description

Text description of the package that is being supplied.

Pack Unit of Measure

The unit of measure code that is associated with this package type.

Packaging SCC-14

The Shipping Container Code for the item in a specific package configuration.

Total Units

Total number of lowest level units.
