Sales Order Entry - Quick Line Entry field descriptions

The fields are presented in alphabetical order. Except where noted, the enterable fields are accessible above the Products to Add grid and in the grid.

Discount Amount

Specify the amount of the discount. It is a monetary amount or a percent, based on the value in the Discount Type field.

The field is only available in the Products to Add grid. You must use the Personalize feature to add the Discount Amount column to the grid.

Discount Type

Select the type of discount to determine if the value in the Discount Amount field is a monetary amount or a percent.

Price

Optionally, specify the price of the product. If you do not specify a price in the field above the grid, the price is displayed after you add the product to the grid. The price is based on product records.

Product

Specify the product to add to the order.

Quantity

Specify the quantity of the product to add to the order. The default quantity is 1.

Unit

Optionally, specify the unit of the product. If you do not specify a unit in the field above the grid, the selling unit from Product Setup is displayed after you add the product to the grid.
