SA Table Code Value Setup - Division field descriptions

Fields are organized by section.

General

Division: The division number or name.
ID: Nonenterable field which displays the ID for this Division table record.
Description: The description associated with the table type.; Do not precede the description with "#" or ".". These characters may cause errors in this field in other functions.

Extended

1099 Name: If you print 1099 forms specifically for this division, specify the name that should print on the forms. You can print 1099s in Vendor Administrator Federal 1099 Print Report.
Tax ID: Specify the tax identification number for this division.
Division Group: Select a division group in this field to assign the division to a single division group. Use this to group one or more divisions within a single division group business entity. The division group can be applied to pricing and pricing sheet records to limit product pricing to only divisions in the group. Select the Pricing by Division Group option in SA Administrator Options-Product-Pricing to implement this pricing structure.; Division groups are set up in SA Table Code Value Setup-Division Group.
Assign Associated Operators for Orig/New Division Group: This option is available if you select a division group. Select this option to automatically assign this division number to the list of Allowed Divisions in all operators assigned to the selected division group.; This update occurs whether you are assigning a division group for the first time, or you are re-assigning a division group. If you are re-assigning a division group, any operator assigned to the previous division group is updated to no longer contain the selected division number in their Allowed Divisions list.; If you do not select this option after selecting a division group in the Division Group field, you must manually maintain each operator’s list of allowed divisions.

Address

Address 1 and 2: If you print 1099 forms specifically for this division, specify the address that should print on the forms. 1099 forms are printed in Vendor Administrator Federal 1099 Print Report.
City, State, Zip Code: If you print 1099 forms specifically for this division, specify the city, state, and postal code that should print on the forms.
