KP Work Order Inquiry field descriptions

This topic lists and describes the Advanced Search fields. Fields are presented in alphabetical order.
Back Order Filter
Displays if Back Order Filter is selected in the Criteria field.
Specify whether to include only backorders in or exclude back orders from the search results. Select All Types to include both regular orders and backorders.
Beginning Work Order #
Specify a work order number as a starting point for selecting work orders.
Created By
Specify user initials to search for work orders created by that user through KP Work Order Center Entry or KP Entry Recommended Work Orders Report.
Component Product
Specify a component product to search for work orders for that kit component.
Entered Date
Specify a date as a starting point selecting work orders. The search results are limited to work orders created on or after the specified date.
Kit Product
You can specify two types of kit products in this field: a prebuilt kit parent product or a fabricated kit product. A prebuilt kit parent product has a Product Setup record with a Kit Type of Pre-Built. A fabricated kit product has a Product Setup record with a Kit Type of Build on Demand and the Allow Transferable Build on Demand Kits field set to Allow.
Specify a valid kit product to search for work orders for that kit product. Leave this field blank to include work orders for all kit products.
You can specify a product that has a Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup record. If the product you specify does not have Product Setup record, the Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup record is used to cross reference it to one of your inventory products. You can enter barcodes and interchange products in this field. If you specify an interchange or barcode product and the product has a Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup record, this message is displayed: Cross Reference Product Selected For Use (cross reference type). The type of product (interchange, barcode) is included in the message. Crossref Kit is displayed to indicate that a Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup record is being used, and the product name is changed to the Product Setup product name.
Record Count
Specify the maximum number of records to include in the search results. Limiting the record count expedites the inquiry process when a large number of records meet the search criteria.
Saved Search
If you have saved previous searches, select the search you want to use.
Stage
Select a stage to search for work orders in that stage. Select All to include work orders of all stages.
Version #
Specify a version number (0-999) to search for work orders with that product setup version number.
Warehouse
Specify a warehouse to search for work orders entered for that warehouse. You must specify a warehouse that has been defined in Product Warehouse Description Setup. When a kit product or component product is specified and a warehouse is specified, the combination is validated in Product Warehouse Product Setup. Leave this field blank to include work orders for all warehouses.
