- Allow Attribute Name

Select this option to enable the Attribute field for editing in SA Business Rule Setup. Clear this option to prevent editing.

Select this option to enable the Direction options (Inbound, Outbound, None) for editing in SA Business Rule Setup. Clear this option to prevent editing.
- Allow Document Handler

Select this option to enable the Document Handler field for editing in SA Business Rule Setup. Clear this option to prevent editing.
- Allow Node Name

Select this option to enable the Node Name field for editing in SA Business Rule Setup. Clear this option to prevent editing.
- Allow Rule Type

Select this option to enable the Rule Type field for editing in SA Business Rule Setup. Clear this option to prevent editing.

Specify a category to further describe types of rules, so users can better filter the different business rules when defining them in Specify the name of an attribute or other data element if the attribute is required in a business rule. This value is not used by business rules defined for the SA Business Rule Setup. To specify more than one category, separate them by a comma. Templates for business rules created from legacy business rules are categorized as Legacy.CONV.

In Level Allowed, select this option to apply this rule to a specific company's transactions.
- Customer

In Level Allowed, select this option to apply this business rule at the customer level only.
- Direction

Specify whether the transaction is Inbound, such as PO acknowledgments, or Outbound, such as purchase orders. Specify None for rules that do no apply to transactional data, such as audit or debug rules.
- Document Handler

Specify the process type, such as EDI or SXAPI.
- Extended Description

Use this text box to describe the values in the template. For example, describe the use, recommended setup, and valid values.
- Global

In Level Allowed, select this option to apply this rule system-wide to all companies.
- Node Name

Specify the transaction type's internal value. For example, 855i indicates the transaction is an inbound 855 document.
- Rule

Specify the name of the rule.
- Rule Type

The name of the business rule template. When you select a template from the grid, this field is automatically populated with the metadata. The business rule template name. When you select a template from the grid, this field is automatically populated with the metadata. In the grid, this name is listed as the ID.
- Rule Value

Specify the name of an attribute or other data element if theSpecify the value that is processed in the application. Each business rule has different valid values. Often these are Yes or No. If the rule is specific to a integration, the value may be a server name. The valid values are usually described for each predefined template. When you later define specific rules based on this template, you can change the value.
- Ship To

In Level Allowed, select this option to apply this business rule at the customer ship-to level only.
- Ship From

In Level Allowed, select this option to apply this business rule at the vendor ship-from level only.
- Vendor
