Sales Order Entry - Taxes & Totals - Discounts field descriptions
Fields are presented in alphabetical order by section.
Order Discounts
- Discount Total
- The discount amount most recently calculated in the Discount Calculator.
- (Discount Value)
- Specify the discount value.
- (Expressed as)
- Select how to treat the specified discount value when it is applied, as an Amount or a Percentage.
- Other Total
- This field displays the special product price type discounts calculated from PD Special Price Type Discount Setup.
- Staging Area
- Optionally, use this field manually specify a staging area bin location. The bin you specify is printed on pick tickets. If that location changes, you must manually update this field. Typically, you would use this field to tell warehouse personnel where to store the order while it is being prepared for shipment.
Discount Calculator
- (Discount Value)
- Specify the value of the discount you want to calculate.
- Expressed as
- Select how to treat the specified discount value when it is calculated, as an Amount or a Percentage.
- Lot Price Order
- Select this option to prevent the line price, discount, and net from printing on the invoice and acknowledgment.
- Type
- Select the type of the discount you want to calculate, either Total Net Sale or Gross Margin %.
