PD Margin Tolerance Setup field descriptions

Fields are presented in alphabetical order.

Customer

When you select Customer as the Margin Setting Type, use this field to specify a customer. The customer you specify must be a valid customer set up in Customer Setup.

Margin Percent - Maximum

Specify a maximum margin percentage for the margin tolerance record.

Margin Percent - Minimum

Specify a minimum margin percentage for the margin tolerance record.

Margin Setting Type

Select the type of record from Pricing Zone, Pricing Region, Warehouse, or Customer.

Next Review Date

Specify a date that is greater than or equal to the current date.

Pricing Region

When you select Pricing Region as the Margin Setting Type, use this field to specify a pricing region. The pricing region you specify must be a valid pricing region set up in the Pricing/Rebate Region table in SA Table Code Value Setup.

When a home warehouse is specified in your SA Operator Setup record and the home warehouse is assigned a Price/Rebate Region in Product Warehouse Description Setup, that pricing region will be populated here by default. When you are restricted to a home warehouse/group in SA Operator Setup, you can only specify the pricing region for your home warehouse or another warehouse in your warehouse group.

Pricing Zone

When you select Pricing Zone as the Margin Setting Type, use this field to specify a pricing zone. The pricing region you specify must be a valid pricing region set up in the Pricing Zone table in SA Table Code Value Setup. When a home warehouse is specified in your SA Operator Setup record and the home warehouse is assigned a Pricing Zone in Product Warehouse Description Setup, that pricing zone will be populated here by default.

When you are restricted to a home warehouse/group in SA Operator Setup, you can only specify the pricing zone for your home warehouse or another warehouse in your warehouse group. Additionally, the specified pricing zone must be a valid pricing zone from the Product Warehouse Description Setup records in your home price region. The home price region is the Price/Rebate Region assigned in Product Warehouse Description Setup for your home warehouse. If you have no home warehouse or if the Price/Rebate Region field is blank for your home warehouse, then the home price region is considered blank.

Product Price Type

You can use this field to specify a product price type from the Product Price Type table in SA Table Code Value Setup in addition to the other margin setting parameters. When this field is populated, the margin tolerance record only applies to products with the specified product price type. When this field is blank, the record applies to all products.

Status

When selected, this option indicates that the record is active. When the record is active, it is used in the margin hold evaluation hierarchy.

Warehouse

When you select Warehouse as the Margin Setting Type, use this field to specify a warehouse. The warehouse you specify must be a valid warehouse set up in Product Warehouse Description Setup. When a home warehouse is specified in your SA Operator Setup record, it will be populated here by default.

When you are restricted to a home warehouse/group in SA Operator Setup, you can only specify your home warehouse or another warehouse in your warehouse group. Additionally, the specified warehouse must be in the same price region as your home price region. The home price region is the Price/Rebate Region assigned in Product Warehouse Description Setup for your home warehouse. If you have no home warehouse or if the Price/Rebate Region field is blank for your home warehouse, then the home price region is considered blank.
