Preventing printing of a report on demand

Because demand printing takes a higher priority than non-demand printing, demand printing can disrupt scheduled printing. To limit demand printing, you can select the Background Only option for individual reports to prevent users from printing the report on demand.

  1. Select System Administrator > Administration > Administrator Options > System > Report Items.
  2. In the Name field, specify the report.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Printing Parameters-Output 6 section, select Background Only.
  5. Click Save.
