Users and security roles

Users, security roles, and Person IDs are defined and shared among Infor Ming.le and all of the applications, including Distribution SX.e, that run through the Infor Ming.le portal. Because Infor Ming.le is the system of record for users, users are set up first in Infor Ming.le and then synchronized through BODs to other applications in the Infor Ming.le portal.

When a user is created or updated in Infor Ming.le, the information associated with that user is used to automatically set up some user information in Distribution SX.e. This just-in-time provisioning process uses accounting entity and security roles to create operator records in Distribution SX.e the first time the user signs in.

These security roles are available when you provision Distribution SX.e in Infor Ming.le. The automated provision process uses information from Infor Ming.le user records and operator templates with preset security values to create operator records in SA Operator Setup.

SX-Purchasing	Access to Distribution SX.e functions related to purchasing
SX-SystemAdministrator	Execute system administration functions in Distribution SX.e
SX-Warehouse	Access to Distribution SX.e functions related to warehouses

Additional roles may be required for each integrated application that runs in Infor Ming.le, such as for Distribution Analytics for Birst content. See the appropriate configuration guide for a list of roles for that integration.
