How to determine your tax interface setups

Distribution SX.e offers multiple options for tax calculation. The options you choose depends on your geographical location, the type of taxes you are required to collect, and whether you are using a third-party tax solution. These options are initially specified in SA Company Setup.

This matrix provides a decision-making tool to help you determine your interface and method. The x-axis shows the Tax Method options, while the y-axis shows the Tax Interface options. The x-axis also shows the tax master record required for the Tax Method selected, which is based on geographical location. The values displayed at the intersections of the options indicate the processing elements of the combinations: Tax rates, GL accounts, line-level tax information, and addon taxability. For example, if you use a third-party tax solution, that third-party calculates the tax rates.
