Clearing user sessions using the SA Administration Operator Disconnect Report

If you do not have access to the SA Administration Operator Disconnect Report, use SA Connection Inquiry to clear users. Connection, device, and user group filters are available in the SA Administration Operator Disconnect Report.

Note: This functionality is part of an approval process that helps to meet some of the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  1. Select System Administrator > Administration > SAA Reports > Operator Disconnect.
  2. Select New > One Time.
  3. Specify printing information, and then click Next.
  4. To clear a single user session, specify a company number and operator’s initials.

    To clear multiple user sessions:

    1. Select Yes for the Enter a List of Operators? option.
    2. Click List.
    3. Specify the operators and their companies.
    4. Click Save.
    Note: When you have activated the sa-jrnlopen event in SA Event Manager Activate Entry in the operator's company, it searches for open journals and sends a notification before disconnecting the user. The triggered sa-jrnlopen event displays in the SA Event Manager Transaction Inquiry for the operator's company.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Save
