Entering a tally bundle on a purchase order

If you set up tally products, you can also set up tally bundles. You must have specified related tally bundle settings in Product Setup, Product Warehouse Product Setup, and KP Mix Setup. Specify a bundle ID in Product Extended Tally Bundle Setup.

A bundle ID represents several random-tally components that are handled as a single unit. A bundle ID must be a unique entity for a warehouse-product combination and is stored on an internal OEELM record. You can purchase and receive products that are that are physically grouped into a bundle and then resell the bundle as is. A PO can have multiple bundle IDs assigned, but you can only attach a bundle ID to one PO line.
Note:  Do not specify a tally bundle product on a purchase order for a vendor that uses foreign currency. Receiving and costing calculations for tally products does not include a foreign currency conversion.

The Bundles tab shows the required quantity, unit, and price fields. The grid shows the bundles.

The calculation is based on all the OEELM lines that are attached to the PO line being processed. A bundle ID is irrelevant for this calculation.

  12. Click Back.
  13. In the Select Products view, click Add.
  14. Repeat steps as necessary to add tally bundles to the order.
