Deleting lines from a tracking document

When you delete a tracking document line, that record is completely removed from the system. You cannot determine why, when, or which stage the line was deleted because you will have no record of the transaction. You must have security of 5-Full Security in SA Operator Setup to delete a tracking document line in OT Transaction Entry.

Note:  This action deletes the PO line from the tracking document. This action does not delete the PO line from the original purchase order record.
  1. Access Overseas Trade > Entry > Transaction.
  2. Specify the number of the tracking document containing the line you want to delete and click Search.
  3. Drill down on the tracking document in the grid.
  4. Select the line item(s) in the Detail view and click Delete.
  5. Use the Select All and Deselect All options to select or deselect all of the purchase order lines in the grid.
  6. When you delete a line, click OK to confirm, or Cancel to undo.
  7. After a purchase order line is deleted from a tracking document, all records are removed from the system.
