Viewing errors for external pricing updates

An update that caused an error must be corrected and resent by the external system.

To view the errors, these transaction types for the SXAPI process must be allowed on your SA Operator Setup-Other Options record:

  • PD Pricing All Maintenance
  • PD Pricing Sheet Maintenance
  1. Select Electronic Data Interchange > Entry > Electronic Transaction Control Center.
  2. Specify this information:
    Process Type

    Select SXAPI.

    Transaction Type

    Select PD Pricing All Maintenance to view errors that occurred when pricing record information was received. Select PD Pricing Sheet Maintenance to view errors that occurred when pricing sheets were received.

    Optionally, select <All>. You can filter by transaction type after you conduct the search.

    Transaction Status
    Select Error.
  3. Optionally, specify a date range.
  4. Click Search.
  5. If you selected <All> in the Transaction Type field, use the grid filter to view the different types of errors.
    1. Select More > Show Filter Row.
    2. In the filter field, specify sxapiPDPricingAllMnt to filter for pricing record errors. Specify sxapiPDPriceSheetMnt to filter for price sheet errors.
    3. Press Enter.
  6. To view an error for pricing record:
    1. Select the error.
    2. Select Actions > View Errors/Messages.
    3. Review the error, and then click OK.
  7. To view an error for a pricing sheet, see the Document Reference column.
    Errors include failed attempts to add, change, and delete a pricing record.
