Setting up promotional pricing defaults

  1. Select System Administrator > Administration > Administrator Options > Documents > Sales Orders > Entry Settings.
  2. In the Promo Price Default field in the Workflow section, select the price to use when a promotional price is available.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Add a note to the change log, and then click OK.
  5. Optionally, set up a business rule to select a different promotional price default for orders that are created using the sxapiOEFullOrderMntV6 call.
    1. Select System Administrator > Setup > Business Rule.
    2. Specify Override to the OEAO Promotional Price Default in the Rule field.
    3. Select the business rule, and then click Edit.
    4. Specify one of these values in the Rule Value field:
      • Specify L to use the lowest price.
      • Specify P to use the promotional price.
      • Specify R to use the regular price.
    5. Click Save.
  6. Optionally, enable operators to override the promotional pricing default in Sales Order Entry.
    1. Select System Administrator > Setup > Operator.
    2. Select the operator record, and then click Edit.
    3. Click Entry Options.
    4. In the Entry Overrides section, select Yes in the Access Promo Price in OE field.
    5. Click Save.
