Creating a comment

You can specify comments for each line item on a document in an order entry function. A comment is similar to a note, except that it relates to a specific line item, instead of the entire order. You can view comments in the Line Detail view in order inquiry functions.

  1. In the Advanced Line Entry mode, specify a product.
  2. Click Comments.
  3. Optionally, specify a printed comment, and then click Save.
  4. Optionally, specify an internal comment, and then click Save.
  5. Return to the line entry window.
