Sending a shipping notification on demand

When you send a shipping notification on demand, the Shipment BOD, or the SXCSShipment BOD for combined shipments, is triggered for the selected contacts. These BODs are sent to Infor OS even if they were previously sent for the same order in Sales Order Entry. The Shipment Notice indicator on the order is not updated by on-demand shipping notifications.

  1. Select Sales > Entry > Shipping Feedback.
  2. Search for order and then select it.

    Alternatively, click Quick Ship and specify the order number.

  3. Click Shipment Notifications.
  4. On the Email Notifications page, select a contact to receive the shipping notification.
    Optionally, click New to add a contact.
  5. Click Save.
