Quantity reset for inactive products in Easy Line Entry
Depending on the number of search results in Easy Line Entry, you might be able to access the Quantity field for an inactive product before it becomes unavailable during the check for unavailable products. These conditions must exist:
- The Check for Non-Standard Products in Easy and Quick Line Entry option is selected on the Order Entry Defaults page in Sales Order Entry.
- The Active Only option is not selected in Easy Line Entry mode.
If you specify a quantity for an inactive product, the quantity resets to zero after the check is complete. The Quantity field also becomes unavailable to prevent you from adding an inactive product to the order.
To exclude inactive products from Easy Line Entry, ensure that the Active Only option is selected. It is selected by default.
