Expediting an order

You can expedite, or rush, one or more line items on a new or existing sales order. Use these instructions to expedite a line on a new order.

Select Sales > Entry > Order.
Specify the required information on the Initiate page, and the click Next.
On the Advanced Line Entry page, specify the product and quantity.
Expand the Extended Fields section.
Select Rush.
Optionally, specify an amount to charge the customer to rush the line.

You can review rush charges for the order in the Taxes & Totals view.
Click Add.
Finish the order.
