Changing the back order limit on an order

If the Back Order Limit field is not displayed, you must use Personalization to add the field to the Customer Order Settings page.

  1. Select Sales > Entry > Order.
  2. Click Maintain.
  3. Search for the order to change.

    Find the latest suffix for the order.

  4. Open the order, and then click Next until you access a line entry page.
  5. Click Customer Order Settings.
  6. If the Back Order Limit field is read-only, perform these steps to make the field available for entry:
    1. Select None in the Disposition field.
    2. Select the Allow Back Orders option.
    3. Click Save.
  7. Change the back order limit.
    Specify a value between 0-98. Ensure that the value is greater than or equal to the suffix of the order.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Finish the order.
