Manipulating prices

In Sales Order Entry, you can manipulate the price of a product in the Pricing page. Use these instructions to change the price of a product when you create an order.

  1. Select Sale > Entry > Order.
  2. Create or maintain an order.
  3. On the Advanced Line Entry page, specify the product and quantity.
  4. Optionally, click Inquire next to the Price field to view the price records for the product in Sales Customer Pricing Inquiry.
  5. Click Pricing.
  6. Specify a percentage, and then select the price type in the Used For field.

    The cost base for cost plus pricing can be based on the warehouse product’s average, last, replacement, or standard value.

  7. Click Apply to view your worksheet calculations.
    The button is available each time you change a value in the Percentage or Used For fields.
  8. Click Submit to update the price of the product and return to Advanced Line Entry.
    Optionally, click Cancel to return to Advanced Line Entry without updating the price of the product.
  9. Click Add to add the item to the order.
  10. Finish the order.
