Selecting a promotional price

You can accept or decline promotional pricing when you add a product to a sales order. Promotional pricing is set up in PD Pricing Setup.

To use this feature, Yes must be selected for the Access Promo Price in OE setting on your SA Operator Setup record. Otherwise, default pricing is determined by the Promo Price Default setting in SA Administrator Options-Documents-Sales Orders-Entry Settings.

  1. Select Sales > Entry > Order.
  2. Create or maintain a sales order.
  3. On the Advanced Line Entry page, specify the product.
    If the product has promotional pricing, that promotional price and non-promotional price are displayed.
  4. Click Yes to accept the promotional price, or click No to decline.
  5. Complete the line, and then click Add.
  6. Finish the order.
