15-day stock-out

These are products that are stocked out for 15 consecutive days or more in a month. Usage is recalculated for these products, but ordering controls are not updated. When a product is frozen, the buyer should review the frozen condition in the Product Exception Center Administration and manually update ordering controls if necessary.

Another option is to set parameters so the product’s usage is overridden and ordering controls are updated automatically. These parameters are set up in Product Replenishment Setup-Usage. These options determine whether to correct a 15-day stock-out situation when you run the Product Administration Month End Processing Report or allow the product to be frozen. If Yes is selected for the Product’s override usage? option, last month’s usage for the product is loaded into the current month’s override usage bucket.
