Alternate vendors by warehouse

If you have multiple locations or warehouses that are allowed to sell a limited subset of your products, you can set up cross reference and warehouse product records that are associated with one or more warehouses.

Alternate vendor products are set up in Product Extended Product Cross Reference Setup. To limit the use of alternate vendors by warehouse, set the Limited Alternate Vendors option in SA Administrator Options-Products-Alternates/UPC.

Next, you can associate, or tie the alternate vendor products to each warehouse product in Product Warehouse Product Setup. These are the only alternate vendor products that are valid for users to purchase from in that warehouse.
