Creating a product list in Product List Setup

You can create lists of products to use as shopping lists in purchase and sales order functions.

  1. Select Product > Setup > Product List.
  2. Click Maintain Types.
  3. Click New.
  4. Specify this information:
    Type
    Specify a short descriptive name for the product list.
    Description
    Specify a description of the product list. The description is displayed in Product List fields in Purchase, Product, and order entry functions.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click the back arrow to access the Product List Setup page.
  7. Click New.
  8. Specify this information:
    Product List
    Specify the name of the list to add the product to.
    Product
    Specify the product to add to the list.
    Quantity
    Specify the default quantity for the product when it is displayed in the list.
    Unit
    Specify the default unit for the product when it is displayed in the list.
  9. Optionally, complete the remaining fields.
  10. Click Save.
