Importing a forecast

Use this procedure to import a forecast. Before you can import a forecast, you must create a forecast header in Product Customer Reservation/Forecast Setup.

  1. Select Product > Reports > IC Reports.
  2. Select IC Customer Reservation/Forecast Export/Import.
  3. Skip the ranges for the import. Ranges are used for forecast exports only.
  4. Specify the directory and file name of the .csv file to import.
  5. Specify I for an import.
  6. To update existing forecasts with the import data, select the Import: Update Existing Records field.
  7. Run the report.

    The data in the file you specified is imported and validated. Invalid lines are skipped. You can review the first validation error for skipped lines on the Customer Forecast Import Report.
