Ranking products

Perform product ranking before you run the Product Administration Month End Processing Report. Each product is assigned a letter ranking, depending on the number of line hits it experiences during a predefined period. Set up parameters for ranking in Product Replenishment Setup-Ranking before you run the Product Administration Inventory Classification and Rank Report to perform the ranking process.

  1. Select Product > Administration > ICA Reports > IC Administrator Inventory Classification and Rank.
  2. Complete the fields on the Information and Ranges pages.
  3. On the Options, specify this information:
    1. Select Yes for the Update Rank for Warehouse? or Update Rank for Company? options.
    2. Select Yes for the Print Hit Detail option to include this information on the report:
      • Rank, percent, lowest number of hits for each rank
      • Percentage at the lowest hit level for each rank within each warehouse
  4. Finish the report, and then click Save to run the report.
  5. Select Product > Administration > ICA Reports > IC Administrator Month End Processing, and then run the report.
  6. Select Product > Administration > Exception Center.
  7. Specify a Rank range of A to B in the Search function, and then click Search.
  8. Process the products that are frozen or have exceptions.
