Balancing GL Setup Account balances with GL Transaction Entry

Use the GL Transaction Activity Reportto print a listing of GL history transactions. The report contains a static line for each account consisting of the account code, title, and beginning balance. The report also contains a historic listing of the transactions that have been posted to the selected account codes from the General Ledger, Customer, Vendor, Products, Sales, Purchase, and warehouse Transfer modules. The report is limited to one specific year. This report identifies out of balance accounts by printing this message next to each account code: GLSA Out Of Balance With GLET.

  1. Select General Ledger > Reports > GL Reports > GL Transaction Activity Report.
  2. You can run a one-time report or store this report for future use.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Specify ranges and options.
  5. Click Finish.
