Creating an ad hoc report

Use these high-level steps to create an ad hoc report of data in any Infor Distribution Analytics subject area.

  1. Access Visualizer using one of these methods:
    • From the Home collection, select a space, and then select the Visualizer module.
    • From a dashboard, select the Global Navigation Menu, and then the Visualizer module.
    • From a dashboard, click the Visualizer icon in the report, or dashlet, header or in the Dashlet Actions menu, then click Explore in Visualizer.
  2. In Visualizer, you see a list of custom subject areas. Based on your assigned role, you can choose from these subject areas:
    • General Ledger
    • Sales
    • Purchasing
    • Inventory
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Master
    • Time
    • Total Warehouse Logistics
    • Warehouse Transfers
    Note: If your role does not have access to a customer subject area, contact your Space Administrator.
  3. Then you can do one of these actions:
    • Add the data first, then change the chart type when you know the data you want to use for the report.
    • Start with a chart type first, then add the data when you have in mind the type of report you want to create.
