Changing and monitoring data flows

CloudSuite Distribution connects to Infor Data Lake through a data flow that uses the Data Connector connection point to send data from the Distribution SX.e database tables to the Data Lake.

Birst extracts this data from the Data Lake using the CSD Infor Data Lake shared connection to Birst Connect 2.0. Birst Workflows can be used to schedule the initial and incremental data loads from Data Lake to update the data models in the prebuilt Infor Distribution Analytics content. Workflows can be scheduled to be run at a particular date and time, or run manually.

These prebuilt workflows can be used to schedule your extractions for the Distribution Analytics content:

• CSD Initial Full Extract and Process

  Use this workflow for the initial data load. First, it sets the default extract date for the initial load for all tables. Then, it extracts and processes all data.

• CSD Analytics Daily Extract and Process

  Use this workflow to extract and process all sources, excluding the ICSWU table. This workflow should be scheduled to run everyday, from Monday to Saturday.

• CSD Analytics Weekly Extract and Process

  Use this workflow to extract and process all sources, including ICSWU table. This workflow should be scheduled to run every Sunday.

• CSD GL Account Map Process

  Use this workflow to process the General Ledger hierarchies and account maps.
